Birches Group, InsideNGO, ORC Worldwide, and People In Aid, are pleased to announce that our Local Salary Surveys for the NGO community (LiNGO) is now in its second year. The LiNGO survey was so successful in 2008 that we have expanded the survey to include more than 140 countries (download LiNGO Survey Flyer).
The survey examines staff salaries and benefits for the local staff population of the INGO community in each of the countries for which we receive participation. It reports on typical parts of the compensation package including base pay, fixed allowances, such as thirteenth month, short-term incentives and benefits, such as typical medical or pension provision. When the survey is launched, you will be notified, and requested to schedule an interview for data collection. At the same time, you will receive an invoice for the survey participation fee, which is due at the time of the survey launch. Survey reports will not be provided to those organizations with an outstanding balance.
To learn more about the LiNGO survey and how you can participate, just click on each section of this Web site. You will find samples, a list of participants, the countries offered in the survey, and instructions on how to participate. You can Join an Informational Call about the Survey to get a quick overview of the salary survey that is produced and why this could serve as a valuable and cost-saving resource for your program operations. There will be a time of Q & A at the end of the session. A presentation on Why use the LiNGO Survey
